Guest Blogging for Amazon sites

I don't understand how is it possible to get links from guest blogging for Amazon Affiliate sites.
No one would link to some review type articles.

The only way I see this happening is I create custom content which provides value so that the blog owner links to it.

But that way I get a link to a page I'm not even trying to rank as opposed to the review/Best of articles which I want to rank in the SERPS. This defeats the whole purpose.

Sorry if this sounds noobish. I'm kinda confused.

sometimes i accept guest posts that link to a product page, usually the post is about some general information that relates to the product.

but i guess the majority of site owners don't think/feel this way

depending on your niche i might be interested in exchanging posts with you

Thanks for the offer bud. I don't have a site right now that needs guest posts right now. Maybe in the future.

I ask this because I hear some SEO's saying guest posting on high stat sites is better than building a PBN because besides passing lots of link juice you also get referral traffic.

However, I feel there are limits to guest-posting because not everyone will be cool with linking to content with affiliate links.

Yes, of course you are right.

For E-commerce sites link building from the guest post is not working perfectly it is just for support links for promoting the page that's all.
 
add a blog with hype posts maybe and then get guest posts to link there instead of product pages
 
Create a linkable asset.
Guest post linking to it.
Linkable asset internal links to your money posts.
Bonus: Linking to content other than your money posts also help raise domain authority which in turns help to rank your money posts in the SERPs.
 
In case of affiliate sites, natural or organic backlinks including genuine guest posts are rare. You need to purchase guest posts or go the PBN way in such cases. The only exception might be websites which are different from the normal Amazon websites. For example, a price compare site or other affiliate site where it provides added feature and looks less spammy might get some real whitehat backlinks.
 
Here's the thing, don't only post content that has affiliate links in it. Target informative keywords in your niche too, produce quality articles and then your site won't looks as a shitty affiliate site.

People will accept your guest posting request and you will be able to get some juicy backlinks. Building backlinks for informative articles is easy comparing to your affiliate content.
