You could. But keep in mind that a lot of variables come into play when you need to tweak a WP site for speed. Every server (enviroment) is different and it’s not simply a matter of installing plugin X and configure it.

From my personal experience I noticed that in some environments/hosts WP Rocket works wonders, in other environments/hosts Cache Enabler is more appropriate and gives better results.

Then there are the different CPanel configurations. With or without LXC, Cloud Linux, HTTP/1.1 vs HTTP/2 and many other variables. Let alone the configs without CPanel.

In the end you choose this service because you don’t want to bother yourself or want a simple way of outsourcing this task so you can spend your time on other tasks that need to be done.

And lastly; you are paying for the knowledge and insight that OP has gained after years of trial and error figuring this thing out.

In my opinion debating the use of plugin x or Melbourne vs New York is pointless. It’s the end result that matters here.

And I didn’t see any discussion on a keyword research sales thread where the use of Ahrefs vs WhateverElse is being discussed. But I haven’t looked at all the BHW sales threads to check if I’m right...
