Hi Guys,

Just wanted to get some advice on how GST would impact blogger/AM income as it would be around 18%. So here are my question's.

a) Has anyone registered for GST (if you are into seo services/AM income/blogging links sale).

b) will gst be additional tax to the current income tax?
source: https://www.hubco.in/articles/how-g...ia-impact-of-gst-registration-on-blogging/amp

c) The exemption is only 20lakhs, so any advice?

d) what about PVT LTD company setups? that would be a big compliance nightmare, so how are you going to deal with it?

--------------

Any advice is good.

Even worse, article says-

As stated above, any person including bloggers who are generating income from outside India than the exemption limit of Rs.20 lakh shall not apply.

I think if you receive money in USD or any currency other then INR and not from Indian company(not even google india) and recipient of service or goods is outside india then no gst will be levied. In any other case gst will be applied.

The even worse part is that, if you don't have all the paperwork ready by July 1st, it would be termed as non compliance. I really cannot imagine what a mess this is going to be.

Applied for GST but account on flipkart seller is in pending condition since two days, lossing money each day.

only CA's seem to be benefiting from this

Can you guys stop making it look like a big mess ? Just relax its going to benefit in long run. If anyone is confused just visit CaclubIndia to get info on this, your all doubts will be clear in few mins if you have good working brain.

Guys I have few questions.

I am a wordpress theme developer and I see themes on marketplaces like Envato, mojo, etc and all of them are not registered in India.

So should I apply for GST or not.

According to: blog.cleartax.in/gst-bloggers-register

They say::

While several aspects and scenarios have been addressed in the GST act, this kind of a set up has not been specifically addressed. Until more clarity emerges, we request bloggers to avoid unnecessary worry on whether they must register.

IMHO if ur bzyness below 20 lakh u not need to worry
