GSA SER worth investing in 2023/2024?

Looking into expanding my skillset into GSA and other link building tools. Reading countless blogs and videos (cheers Matthew Woodward for the video guide). If anyone also has any other useful sources for strategies that would be appreciated.

I know that GSA used to be a very powerful tool for backlinking and building authority using a tiered system. But using your experience, is it still worth investing your time into? Especially looking at how Google are pushing algorithm updates towards reviews, user experience and core web vitals.

you need to know how and where to use the links it makes. If you think you can just set and forget then you'd be wrong. if you can get the tiering right its great to push your rankings

Yeah from the research I've done, it's a tool that you need to keep a close eye on. I also know that if you are not experienced or know what you are doing then you can do some serious damage to your money site.

I have only been using GSA for my link building since 2014 mid, and I never look back.

I have 5 tips for you. ;)

1. Always use quality content for your projects. (with this, you will solve a hell of probs like poor indexing ratio and paranoid of getting penalized for your site )

2. Monitor your gsa ser projects and treat them nicely with fresh content weekly or how it depends.

3 Use mix email providers. If you can host your own catchall from domains. Its cheaper. You can create 1 catchall for less than 12$ for year

4 Use Senseful anchor text and never spam + Add some authority links (may be from your competitors) to same content. Maintain a general generic anchor text ratio

5 Uncheck engines like trackbacks and give some love to engines like blog comments. they help to index soon

Patience, learn, learn, learn, and never give up.

GSA works best, but treat it as an AUTOMATION tool. Avoid trying to expect anything magic with tools. (I guess that's my bonus advice, lol )

The best resources are in text format yet for gsa. bhw and gsa forums always for you

Gladly accept those tips from you ;)

Honestly, cheers for sending these. This sort of knowledge is something you only get from experience. God know how long it would take me to fully understand this on my own

Good content means no spinning tier 1 and editing GPT outputs and not just copy/paste. Do not use built-in content tools in GSA for your money site. This is what good content means.

Just make some first person experienced based posts on your niche with personal stories(if you are morally opposed to an AI writing personal stories feel free to write 1000 articles a month yourself)

Backlink is going to stay here... You need to be smart by using those tools. GSA is great for Tier 2 and Tier 3 links.
you still can use it for tier 1.

GSA SER functions primarily as a submission tool; it posts to the targets you provide. If you feed it with tier 1 safe links, it will post to those. There are several methods to acquire premium links. One way is by integrating an API like Yandex PR emulator into GSA and filtering for citation/trust flow to avoid spammy targets. Alternatively, you can use link lists specifically tailored for tier 1 safe links, and various services offer these. GSA SER's flexibility allows you to not only use standard platforms but also customize submissions to your own sites, private blog networks, or engines that aren't supported by default. I highly value the software and support its developers. Moreover, I'm eagerly anticipating Black Friday to take advantage of the deals. I'm quite excited about what I plan to purchase this year. (heart)

Would you recommend any lists for tier 1 submissions?

If you are not on a tight budget, serlinks does a great job. at the end of the day, you're not going to get millions of unique links, but you will build quality links, and their index ratio is pretty decent.

Serverifiedlists is also a great option, and their yearly plan is cheaper than many other services, offering a quality database. I recently started using the buy gsa link list, which is a list instead of a service. It has a great success rate and very good unique targets. If you are new to this, go with a link list instead of a service, but just make sure to use it as much as you can

Definitely new to this so i'll take your advice to look for a list rather than a service. I think as it will be a first into delving into this sort of tool and strategy I will be looking on the cheaper side of things. That is until I have things up and running with a bit more experience under my belt

Your bonus advice would be in the first place. Love da tips

My advice is don't try to optimize your GSA campaigns for speed (so-called LPM ). Try to optimize it for quality projects.

LOL at "morally opposed". BTW, using GPT in this way (first-person stories) is an excellent way to utilize AI for unique content. It's so much better than the generic articles it spits out.

Another bit of advice for using GSA SER. Drip, drip, drip instead of blast. I have a lot of projects running concurrently, but all of them are capped at something like 20-50 verified links per day. It's tempting to blast several thousand links at your sites every day, but this level of linkbuilding velocity is insane.

I totally agree with that, do you scrape your own list?, if not which provider do you use?

I used to scrape my own lists, but the resources required to get a decent list are too much. I buy static lists from multiple providers, usually in the price range of $5-15 each. I've been thinking about subscribing to gsaserlists but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
