You are recommending users filter out links from domains for less than PR2. You do know that Sven removed/wanted to remove that function entirely from the program because of how outdated and useless it was right?

http://forum.gsa-online.de/discussi...the-v10-79-pr-filter-option-is-no-longer-used

Read my post stupid, i mentioned that and still you can find great sources to place links on, just because you can't, doesn't mean that i can't, i have the rankings and monthly filled bank account that proves you wrong.

That is a nice method, i do it a bit differently as i do use all the links i can get in my tier three to index my tier 2 and by extension tier one, do you use a list or do you let GSA scrape for itself, i mix that up too, tier one i let GSA do the scraping, i find that i can find better HQ sites then when i scrape for sites, tier two and three are my scrapped lists (that need to be looked over soon)

T1A - Articles and Social Networks, articles only with no profiles at all. (having a platform and a content type both called articles is a little confusing but they are different) Make sure there is at least one video or image on to help indexing, niche relevant content but auto spin is all I use from Kontent Machine.
T1B - Article and Social Networks Profiles and Forums, not forum posts (dont tick it in the options tab).
T2 - Blog Comments, Trackbacks, Image Comments, Directories and Guestbooks.

  • Never use the article platforms JoomlaK2 or PHPWeb, the Guestbook platform DedeEIMs is questionable also as they put danger into your tiers.
  • Never use the platforms Exploit, RSS, Indexer, Pingback, Microblog, URL Shortener or Reffer, they are worthless and clog resources on your system offering no real benefit and stops your server from building good links.
  • Don't waste your time with Wiki contextuals as they die crazy fast for some reason when compaired to Article and Social networks. If you workout the amount of resources you put into the T2 just for the wiki target links on T1 to die it seems pointless so I dropped them.
  • The social bookmark contextual platform is not in wide enough use for me to include it in my list building process so I dropped it too.
  • The forum platform is a grey area as forum posts are useless and will most likley be deleted but the forum profiles offer the same as what SER classes as contextual profiles in the article and social bookmark catagory. Just be sure not to use the Discuss engine as it used to clog SER (I think it was a bug, may have been fixed now.)
  • I don't use any intentional no follow links. I have had some people say stupid crap like they dont like using 100% do follow as it is unnatural so use 80% do follow and 20% no follow....not sure why they havent worked out there is no such thing as a "natural" backlink profile or why 80/20 would be considered as natural lol.
  • I have tested various anchor text ratios and breakdowns but there doesnt seem to be much difference in them. I have no testing to back this next bit up but just out of habit I try to make sure that no single anchor text phrase is used more than 1%, might make a difference, might not. Never tested it and probably never will.

The basic idea is that you are using platforms on your T1 that are going to make a fresh new page on the domain for you with only your link and the site owners links (the ones in the sidebar and footer and stuff but dont worry about them) so noone can sneak a porn link in there or anything like that. The T1A is your main strong article content, give those links at least 25-50 T2 links per day to help give them power. Think of your T1A as a sharpshooter, they are the ones that have the power on the battlefield and are to be feared. Your T1B is there to increase the reffering domains to your money site, think of them as riflemen on the battlefield. They offer cover and supressing fire for your T1A, all these need is 5 T2 links a day to help them index over the course of a month but if your list is large enough you can power them up with 25-50 too. Your T2 is there to index and power up your T1.

I have stopped all SER link building this month as I want to take a step back and just observe what my SER only sites do, sites tend to stop dancing when you stop building links to them. During this period though I will be putting my resources into keyword research ready to scale :). The above is used on fresh domains and got target pages to the first page in around two months.

Give this thread a quick read it has a screenshot of the actual link types I am using on it - http://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/comment/129835/#Comment_129835

Just concede and move on, you have no idea what you're talking about here, BigGulpsWhatever from the SER forum

I feel like a bit of a failure because of how he turned out :( He turned up to the GSA forum a prick but I was determined to make him an asset but his poor attitude ground my patience down and I recently gave up on him and wont even waste my time replying to any of his comments. Here is something about him I noticed the other day though lol.....

Slates RankerX in his post but is promoting it in his signature lol.....also, another quick tip guys. Don't waste your time with his link, he didnt have a clue how to set RX up.

This is a great post, thank you I'll try this out on a couple of fresh domains I've been meaning to build out and report back.

No problem, good luck with the project :). I have a pretty large overflow of test keywords that will work with this method if you want one just let me know. I won't go into my keyword research method as it took me a long time and a fair amount of cash to develop but I dont mind give you a single keyword to build a site with to help build your confidence in the method and realise SER and SER alone can be used to rank sites.

Without knowing your daily link limits and your systems LPM I can't comment fully but if you have access to scrapebox or some other reliable method of checking the google index I would check your indexing rates for Exploit, RSS, Indexer, Pingback, Microblog, URL Shortener and Reffer. When I checked them they were not indexing and thus useless to me. You maybe using a third party indexing service to get them indexed but after testing a fair few myself I decided they were worthless after Express Indexer's method was patched out.

The idea behind my method is to have your T1 as fresh pages on the domain that are contextual and free from other spam links. You then use a T2 of platforms that comment on an already existing page that should already be indexed in google and thus index your T1. Thats why I use those specific platforms on my T2.

I test ALOT of stuff and I used to run a similar system to yourself but over time I dropped the platforms I said above as without links build to them they were not indexing for me. Building the Exploit, RSS, Indexer, Pingback, Microblog, URL Shortener and Reffer links took up a lot of system resources. By dropping them I was able to put those resources to better use and rank more pages with the same resources.

I used to be 100% build your own link lists, I have used paid link lists in the past and published this post exposing them...

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...sa-premium-lists-what-you-really-getting.html.

At the time of publishing I did feel a little bad for Loopline as he is a nice guy and it seemed like I was singling him out but his list was used simply because I had access to it at the time. I am happy to say he has since changed a few of his processes and his list has improved a lot! Recently I had to stop building my own lists as I needed the server for other tasks so I supplimented my list with Looplines and was pleased with the results. I have left a few posts in his BST. Although I have now gone back to building my own lists as over all I feel it is better, looplines list is probably the best entry level solution for newcomers as it has been highly refined over the past few month and is alot cheaper than having a server, scrapebox, GSA PI, proxies, a second version of SER and a second version of CB. A note here, you are able to use CB as a web server and use a single version of it but when you are sending 1000+ LPM to it from your building server and close to 1700LPM to it from your verification server it does suffer a little so I feel it is worth the investment of getting a second version. Also running it as a web server slows down the SER copy that is not hosted on the same server as it.

That being said I recently had the horror of using the SeRocket list. NEVER USE THIS LIST! It had barley any live links and when I left a review in their thread and ask for a refund their support tried to blackmail me lol. I stuck to my guns as my PayPal account has a perfect record and a healthy ratio of transactions to refund requests so I was confident I would win a dispute with them anyway but please guys never use them they are basically a scam. If you need a paid list go with Loopline.

My current list method involves a $99 a month dedi server, GSA PI (a massively under rated bit of kit), proxies, a few instances of Scrapebox, and dropbox. I have the scrapebox instances gathering links from a number of different methods and PI identifies them all then SER verified.

Now that I have seen your method, I would like try to rank a test site with SER alone. If possible, I would like take up your offer on one of your keywords for testing.

I put that up there before I realized that it wasn't working for what I needed it to do, you can do way more with a team of cheap VA's from upwork than relying on that software.

Do people who sell cash advances actually use them? No, they probably don't need to.
Do people who sell drugs use them? Maybe, but sometimes not.
Do people who sell diet pills take them? Not likely.
Do I need to drive an Audi to sell you one? No.
Do people who sell...

You can keep going all day here, you don't need to believe in/or actively use a product to sell it.

This guy is unbelievable. He must troll these forums just to disagree with everyone and spread misinformation. I've never heard him say anything true, let alone helpful.

I'm usually just buying my lists, and I'm currently using Loopline's. It works well and the price is very reasonable. I've used Grindlists in the past, and while it's better I did not feel that it was 3x better, which is roughly the difference in cost. I never tried SeRocket, but there are some really terrible lists being sold.

Why do you feel like building your own list is better? I haven't tested it, but my theory is that with all of the list sellers out there, finding targets that haven't been found by at least one of them (and will soon be found by more) is a losing battle. fc-dh, same question to you if you don't mind answering :)

Sure, I'll play this game.

Do people who actually know seo say such stupid things on forums? Maybe, but only if they're intentionally spreading false information.
Do people who actually know seo waste time spamming affiliate links on said forums? No, they probably don't need to.
Do people who actually know seo annoy forum members by PMing them with affiliate links to buy email accounts (yes, he actually does this)? No, they probably don't need to.

You can keep going all day here, you don't need to believe Bahmer knows anything about seo to think he's an idiot.

PMed yous each a keyword, if you's need any tips on your on page just post.

You are 100% correct, the fact that there are so many people out there making personal lists and the premium list sellers scraping and verifying on a massive scale the chances of you finding a target that is not already being spammed is small. When you are first starting out a list like Looplines is fine when you use a method similar to mine but as you progress you will probably want to start making your own.

I don't care if other people are spamming the targets already I make my own list to be able to control what I am getting. I know these numbers are off but I have dumbed them down for ease of use. Say you buy a premium list and you get the following targets from it.

Contextuals - 10
Non Contextuals - 50
Worthless links - 100

Now I know some of them update throughout the month but targets also die all the time so lets say for this example that the total targets remain constant throughout the month. On top of this list that you have purchased say there are another 9 premium list sellers out there with the same target numbers that you have but you dont have access to their lists.

This brings the potential target list to.....

Contextuals - 100
Non Contextuals - 500
Worthless - 1000

On top of this you also have the people like me who make their own lists to add in to this number but remember with a premium list you only have access to the very first amout of target links.

Now with my own list building methods I have different scrapebox instances doing a number of different things. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the link extractor on scrapebox but I essentially use it to go out and get the targets all other people have in their lists. I bin worthless links as you get so many of them and I have no need for them so dont waste the SER resources on it. So by using this on a powerful server I am in theory able to scrape and verify the following from other lists all at once....

Contextuals - 100
Non Contextuals - 500

On top of this you are able to use the link extractor and/or a few search modifiers to load your targets and pull other potential targets from the same domain. Chances are if you can auto post to one target on the domain there are more. For this example say we increase out list size by 50% from other internal links. So now we have.....

Contextuals - 150
Non Contextuals - 750

So we have went from $50 monthly for a list of...

Contextuals - 10
Non Contextuals - 50

To making our own list for around $100-$150 monthly with one off purchases of SER, CB, PI and Scrapebox with...

Contextuals - 150
Non Contextuals - 750

In addition to all this you also have what is in my oppinion the most powerful aspect of making your own list, being able to target a specific platform with footprint searches. In my oppinion the strongest platforms SER can post to by far are Drupal Article, Wordpress Article, Buddypress Article (make sure you dont have microblog ticked in options) and XpressEngine Article. When scraping my own lists with a dedicated set up I can for example say I want to get my tools focusing on Drupal article and have footprint search instances in scrapebox set up doing nothing but scraping drupal targets 24/7 in additon to all of the above.

I know I typed a fair amount there, hopfully it makes sense :). Also you have to remember that there will be crossover between the lists where different list sellers have scraped the same targets but I just used the numbers to try and get my point across.

Got me inspired to start using GSA again :)

What are your thoughts on combining this with RankerX? Just ran a test premium campaign and got:

Web 2.0s - 38 links
Web 2.0 profiles - 38 links
Forum profiles - 376 links

Could spread this over say 30 days and then use GSA for Tier 2. I guess with RankerX though, once you have create a set of accounts, thats it...but with GSA you can keep building indefinitely.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Have you got a 20,000 page website that you put all your love into? Well then no. Just rack some piece of shit up and spam that tier one with GSA.

It amazes me that more people don't take this attitude. You can get xyz domains for anywhere from 44 cents to a dollar, just buy 20 of these and see if you can make anything happen.

Is GSA is a good tool for money site ? It's better for tier 2 link building only
whichever blaster you are using, just blast the tier 2 only
never blast on your money site
keep it safe

I stopped using RankerX about a month ago and I have a free lifetime license to it. If I had to pay, especially the rates they ask for now I would have stopped alot sooner.

Read my posts in this thread, they explain how you can rank with nothing other than links from SER.

Have you got a 20,000 page website that you put all your love into? Well then no. Just rack some piece of shit up and spam that tier one with GSA.

This is the exact attitude more people need, you can throw a burner test site up very very cheaply now but for some reason people put $20-$30 into a site and treat it like gold and are scared to test with it.

It makes sense, and thanks for the keyword :) You make a compelling case, so I may need to stop being lazy and put together my own lists, at least as a test.

No problem :).

The problem with buying lists is that are sold, resold, shared, repacked and sold and shared again, you name it it is done to it, and yes you are right that a lot of targets will also end up on those lists, but a lot of targets don't, i am not heavily in scraping anymore, as i use both my SER/CB for the setup i just mentioned, i get pretty much the same results, be it in a slower pace but i got time, and it is a set and forget method, (well until you run out of keywords or proxies) and those are the methods i like the most :)

It's simple, if you don't know what you're doing with GSA SER, don't use it directly on your money site. Use it on your buffer sites / T1's until you do know what you're doing.

my rule of thumb.

Tier 1 (to your money site): all manual links. no exceptions
tier 2 : sure, can use GSA, but make sure its higher quality
tier 3: gsa till your satisfied.
