Very interesting, good luck mate. )
I used to accept sponsored posts for a minimum of $100. I've since stopped accepting after signing up for Ezoic.
I am Doing Adult CPA And Niche Blogs, But Planning From a Long time to come in Tech News.
BTW Inspiring Thread.
Are RPM the only metric used for your earnings? Don't you earn some money also using CPC, meaning when someone clicks on your ad?
its a very good idea
Any updates how your rates/earnings and traffic in 2019-07 ?
JULY 2019 MONTHLY REPORT
No. of articles: 289 (+15)
Visitors: 354,051 (+115,165)
Pageviews: 552,133 (+190,409)
Email subscribers: 383 (+11)
Earnings: $2,091.28 (+$643.99)
Expenses: $474.86 (+$464.86)
Profit: $1,616.42 ($179.13)
I'm back again. Last month (July) has been a great month for me. I'm starting to gain more traffic for the evergreen articles I wrote starting April. Furthermore, my top performing pages have regained the rankings that they lost in June.
As you can see, my earnings increased significantly. That's because I joined Ezoic Premium. It's an invitation-only program which pays higher than non-premium. The downside is that it requires a large financial investment. I'm required to pay $440 per month to join the program, but it has a 14-day trial to test before going all in.
Ezoic estimates that I will earn between $700-900 per month from Ezoic Premium. So deducting the $440 monthly fee, I will make a profit of anywhere around $300-400. That's aside from the non-premium Ezoic which is a different one. For July, I earned $1,750 from non-premium and $340 for the premium (this is for the 14-day trial only).
I'm both nervous and excited because $440 a month is quite a large sum of money here. What if my traffic and earnings decline? But it also motivates me to work harder. Sometimes you've gotta take some risks.
That's all for now. Will update soon when I have something else to say (hopefully much sooner than once a month )
That's a legit scam. They are literally charging you for selling your ad inventory to them. Crazy!
Totally agree with this but everyone decides by him self.
I don't know mate. I've read the forums and plenty have already joined the premium program. Anyway, I can quit anytime I want and just go with the non-premium if things don't go well.
I don't know if I should their premium program. Currently I have a EPMV of 2$. Got in touch with my manager about it and she said that it is normal in July and August. Though my stats are close to yours but managed to get 850$ for the month of July.
Nice share, following your journey
good luck man
Did you get an invitation? The premium is by invite only. I think $2 EPMV is too low, where are your main visitors from?
Yes, July and August are lean months for ad revenue. Hope it will increase going to the Christmas season.
Mainly from US, I had a short frame where earnings jumped by a lot by then it fell down again. Will send you a PM tomorrow with data.
Interesting journey. This has motivated me to work on my tech blog. It used to make around $1500 per month last year, but I got lazy and didn't add any articles. It is now sitting at a mere $200 - 300 per month with no new content since September last year.
Quick question: I am using adsense to monetise the blog. Would switching to Ezoic help increase my earnings? Most of my visitors are from the US, UK, Canada and Australia. I am getting roughly 160,000 pageviews (60,000 visitors) per month these days, according to Analytics. How much would you estimate I can earn from that kind of traffic if I switch to Ezoic?
I am yet to go through all your posts, but I'd also appreciate it if you could tell me whether you're using Accelerate Mobile Pages (AMPs)?
Thanks and all the best!
That's strange, because US usually has a high EPMV. Mine is closer to $5 and most of my readers are from developing countries. Maybe your account manager can help you with that. He can make suggestions to improve your earnings.
Sorry but I cannot estimate your earnings because we have different visitor demographics, ad layouts, etc. But from reading the forums, visitors from those countries usually earn $10 RPMs or more. But they say that you'll earn 2-3x what you usually earn from Adsense, and so far, that's true for me.
No, I'm not using AMP.
Solid and amazing. Pls do you have advise you can share with me? Links to thread to read? I have a service orientated website for 2d animation that I offer. I have a blog section and I would like to grow the traffic of that site which is dead as we speak. Growing the traffic will help me get clients who will need my services and also help me earn via ad and sponsored posts. Congrats bro, u are doing well. I would be okay with 2k dollars per month in my country.
do you promote your blog on social media?
Good going man.
What kind of hosting do you have for more 500k page views?
Separate names with a comma.
