Anyone know how the Grocery Stores distribute the coupon data to the coupon sites?

It seems there is one master feed.

I want to do the same, but have no idea on how to get it picked up and distributed.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Most of the grocery store coupons originate at coupons.com, and then other sites pick up the same coupons from there.

Just wanted to chime in on this as I used to work on an app in the coupon space. RedRubies is right to some extent - most of these big coupon sites have deals with grocery chains, or staff who frequently check local print flyers and manually port over the information to a digital site.

Grocery stores are actually pretty reprehensive to work with any web property in giving out any kind of data due to the already competitive industry margins, the usually only work with the savings giants who they can't afford to ignore as all their competition is already actively using them and they feel the need to compete in a race to the bottom.

If you are going to enter the savings vertical be sure you have a VERY unique hook or are focused on a hyper-local region; otherwise you won't be able to carve out a good standing in such an industry.
