What brings me to finally register here at BHW after many years of guest browsing in search of that bit of knowledge that seemed to elude at every turn was a recent turn of events I can share later. But the short answer is what I thought to be a very secure 8 year eBay business came tumbling down in a short 2 months because of a string of unforeseen events and so this has me looking for inquisitive minds that I may be able to help or inspiring minds that may be able to help me with advice. It's a crazy story, but eBay/PayPal did not cause it, nor did I violate any policies nor was I banned. In the end, I simply withheld my selling fees to make a point and get someone to listen. But they didn't. So it ended up being self-sabotage as I kind of expected, but honestly 8 years of that grind may have played a part as well, coupled with the fact that I paid them over $130K in fees and thought I deserved more than a minimum wage phone center rep. So with all this extra free time I have made for myself, I needed to get the gears turning with fresh ideas. I certainly welcome any offers of advice from the community, but more importantly to me I think at this stage, is to try and offer advice and/or warnings to others from my story. I have real practical experience and consider myself a well rounded expert in most eBay subjects. I am a self taught drop-shipper that could get even the hardest "no drop ship policy" retailers and suppliers to look the other way. (I can't name these sources for obvious reasons, sorry) but all businesses are after one thing and when you can show them something outside the box, most of the time they take the No Harm No Foul attitude. You now have a proceed with caution yellow light. The green light is all up to you now. Remember this is my introduction and I am not trying to monetize this information to anyone. So I look forward to the ebb and flow of knowledge that is here and meeting honest people that have shared interest. And I may as well make this disclaimer right off the bat. I am not looking to be contacted by anyone with a sales pitch or scam, so try the next one down the list. I am more than fine with BHW ideas and methods, but directing the ideology toward individuals was where I drew the line in the sand. And I assure you that the "Newbie" adjective associated with my profile is in name only. Its taken many many years of bleach to get this hat to a respectable grey color. So just move on. I promise this will be the longest post you will see from me in a forum. But thanks for reading!!
