Somewhat Newb, who's been lurking for a little over a week. I must say that of all the forums I've come across this is at the top of the list. A ton of quality information... and a ton of information that goes WAYYYYY over my head.. LOL.

I owned a couple sites years ago, sold them off in 2005. They were yahoo stores in which I sold drop shipped products. They did fairly well, but I wasn't able to spend a lot of time on them due to my day job taking more of my time. Needless to say, our current econemic situation is giving me more and more down time... and not the good kind. I've been doing a ton of research over the past month and half. From email marketing, niche stores, affiliates, itrading, taking survey's etc. etc. My mind feels fried at times from information overload, but I want to do it right and I want to establish some long term growth businesses as well as some to generate some quick capital to invest into the other projects.

The information that I have read on this site has been great. Like I said the stores I ran were Yahoo stores and I've build a couple simple sites through site builder etc. My html is limited and I'm kind of a novice with photoshop so I get a bit lost when it comes to a lot of the techinical terms that get thrown around. Makes for more research as I have to look up a lot of the terms etc. BUt I'm not in this for the short term or with aspirations of getting rich quick, so I'll keep learning and pushing through. I think that's going to be my biggest hurdle is designing sites, because I don't want to put up junk looking sites.

I just wanted to thank those of you who seem to go out of your way to help Newbs and make this forum what it is. I look forward to becoming an active and long term member.
