Great CL Idea

O.K This would be great...I have had a few drinks and been reading all the CL drama. I don't like CL very much from the start but they have now started a war against us. So I had this kinda funny Idea. First someone let me know if Image ads still post. If yes then wouldn't it be great If every CL poster from BHW took a day off of work and dedicated it to posting a logo as many times as they possibly could on CL. I have a logo in mind LOL.. Kinda like a F U to show how many of us there actually are. It's not hacking or anything.

Reading their new warning page just pisses me off. They think that they have so much power...We are marketers not hackers they should be happy.

In what way would that be? Protecting the integrity of the ads on their website?

If you got jumped and had your wallet stolen every time you went to Walmart, you'd probably eventually stop going to Walmart. If people get scammed every time they go to craigslist, they'll eventually stop using craigslist.

No one likes having to jump through hoops to post on craigslist, but this whole idea that we should be mad at them is just silly. They're doing nothing but protecting their website and their user base.

Exactly. I imagine that some of it has to do with the fact that there site is no long "easy to use" compared to before how you just enter and post.

Hey, how about this, we end up being the ban hammer for cl? Like each of us take a major market, and just start flagging until they change the way that flagging is done... And they also change the way that the blocking of the ip's are done as well. If everyone on this forum, took a city and started flagging, there would be no new posts in any of the cities.... Now wouldnt that be a laugh... And for all of you cl scrapers... scrape then flag, scrape then flag..

Because when I try to post a legitimate ad for selling my stuff for real (I hate eBay and Paypal and the US postal service and all their fees).. then it's hard as hell to post. Even if it is legitimate. They are banning good people too. I don't use CL to post bad ads, but it's just so hard with all the fooling around going on to even use the damn thing. Or you have to pay $25 to post in a major city (I'm from Chicago). There is NO INCENTIVE to use CL anymore.
