If there was a BHW member who was offering a service by way of BHW forums.

I then had a rather interesting PM conversation which emerges the seller to be somewhat of a person you might wish to be warned of, would it be bad etiquette to post the sales PM conversation in their thread? This might warn other users of the candor of this particular service so they can make their own conclusions?

    ermmmm... expect to be flamed.

But I would probably pm it to a mod first and ask their opinion, especially if that person was selling an approved service here.

It may be bad etiquette or good judgement dependant on the motive of the post.
    Publish and be damned!

I think this is in the wrong section, but at least pm a mod if you feel strongly about it.

Hello. My name is apekillape. I'm a moderator here at fine BHW.

I've been contacted by the gentleman in question, and seen said logs. And if you shit up his review thread without any actual evidence of wrongdoing, or post said logs here, you will be banned.

I was going to be polite and just message you directly, but apparently you like being called for being an asshole in public.

As you are also a VIP of this persons forum/business/service do you think banning me would be deemed truly neutral fair and independent, or would this be seen as you helping a friend?

You have read the string and if you feel I have been conversing with this member in an inappropriate way, I would be happy to publicly apologise for this.

Similarly if BHW is not a place where there is freedom of speech then perhaps the value is in question.

I don't wish to be banned please, as I am a paid member, unlike the person in question. I paid because the repute of this forum is outstanding. That said if I have a bad experience with someone, then it is my right, should I choose, or feel it reasonable etiquette to share this.

The posting herein was a mere question, and I would not vilify anothers thread or business without proper review. evidence or balanced editorial. As his friend it seems I understand how you might like to warn against this type of behavoir. Calling me an asshole might however not be perfect mitigation that you are really thinking with the best interests globally of the BHW forum users.

Sometimes the posters offer solace here, and due to the incredible anger outbursts I was concerned about my position should this person continue to be offensive and rude. I would not want any of my peers here to go through such a thing.

Again perhaps this thread was opened in haste, but it was speculative and not threatening. I did however indicate in my PM conversation to this person that I found his conduct and candour rather rude considering anyone is entitled to post their opinion. That said, I did not"threaten his sales" as is infered. I simply hinted that vilifying users of a forum of such open policy is a little surprising a sales tactic. I hope you had me down as someone more intelligent than a vindictive person who would unlawfully "shit" in someones thread.

But, as I have said before, if we are not allowed or permitted to share our opinion on services sold or recommended in this forum, or the attitude of the seller, please do let me know. ( This may be in the terms and conditions, and I may be mistaken )

I am intending to become a customer of the service in question, and I intend to continue using this portal. Please could you respond to me via the PM as I sense this thread will not be one best shared globally.

We are all on the same team. Please read over again the threads and if you genuinely feel that "I" am at fault I would gladly like to discuss this.

Anyway, partially resolved and making peace, lets not start calling each other names or having a vocab off. We are all far too busy.

    Lesson learned this end.

You're awfully quick to jump ahead and say it must be an inside job. There's obviously no way that everyone but you could have had a pleasant experience with the service in question, including myself, therefore the problem might not be with the seller.

None of this needed to be done publicly.

Again with the accusations of impartiality. You understand exactly nothing.

If you really wanted to know the answer, you would have contacted a moderator to handle the issue. If you had any intent except to have a public tantrum, there are many other obvious available channels before "lol lemme post these pms!" If you're really so concerned about the other members, wouldn't it make more sense to contact someone who could actually do something about it?

And yes, you did in fact threaten his sales. I read it, you said it, don't pretend otherwise just because people are watching.

    I'm done with this.
