I purchased the monthly plan today, for $9.99, and when I went to download the file on my PC, Avast caught it and said Malware. So I asked support, they said to disable it.

I didn't, I asked for their Apple Mac Version. Once I downloaded the zip file, I went to Virus Total, uploaded the file and it lit up like Christmas. (See attached Screenshots)

The support when I asked why it does that, said the same thing but provided no answer. This to me is a bit concerning, can someone chime in on this? @indianbill007 ?

Sometime antivirus misunderstood the files present in the software as virus, but the software doesn't contain any virus

We would like to inform you that there is no virus in the software, its just a false positive reported by some of the AV companies.
As a proof you can take a look at recent reply from one of the popular AV company:

I cannot vouch for their software but I know that on occasion my software will also get flagged by a bunch of different AVs. I can guarantee that my software never has anything malicious so false flags happen all the time.

I will generally re-pack the file and upload again, often simply re-compiling and / or re-packing will get around it.

This happens as malicious software tends to use the same protection software as legitimate software so the AVs will see some markers from malware in genuine software and just blanket flag the lot.

Again though I am not vouching for their software as I have never used it and am not very familiar with it, I am just saying that false flags do happen.

This is a false positive guys, we have communication proofs with all AV companies, they have confirmed its a false positive, any one who wants to take a look into the communications can PM me or skype the support directly, they will show you the communications with TOP AV companies. This happens with almost all social media automation softwares in the market which come with installers.

Alternatively if anyone wants to double confirm you can send the build to any of the AV companies of your choice and ask for a report, they will tell you it was a false positive.

if .net exe is obfuscated then antivirus treat it as false positive...
Seems like thats the issue here

Often software gets flagged with False Positives. If the product is bought ( ie not nulled ) from a reputable seller, then there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
