I'm getting a bunch of people who need Google Place Pages claimed.

I've looked around, and only found really dated instructions.

Does anyone know of a resource that can walk them through signing up for a Google account, finding their place page, and claiming it?

I'd rather not make one myself if it already exists. Thanks. ~englandrm

Where are you "getting" these people?

I would take one of the people you are talking about (a business that hasn't claimed/created their GPlaces listing) and walk them through it while doing a screen cap video.

In fact, you might try doing it as a live seminar/webinar, invite people and get them to RSVP for the event as a way to enter a drawing to be the business that get's featured and you will walk through the whole process.

This should get you several clients, as well as helping some of them to do it themselves and save money - they will be grateful for the tutorial and may become clients later for other services.

AND the screen-cap video recording will be a product you can sell or give-away as a bonus or to get potential clients to sign-up to your list.

The clients are actually being "given" to me by another company. I'm their SEO guy, and it's a really cool deal all around. I'm starting with a few of their clients, and when I show them my methods work, I get access to all of their clients. I'm trying to put as many systems in place to automate the process, aka the need for instructions.

Screen Cap is probably the best idea, and I'll give them written instructions as an extra encouragement to take care of it themselves.

    Thanks for the tip.

I did purchase a WSO that had step by step instructions made by a google employee (or a yellow page one ) and it was pretty in detail.

I can dig it up for you if you like. I do think though a screencap would be nice as well.

Thinking about it now, I may have run across one of those. Do you remember what it was called?
