    Hi everyone,

I recently needed a twitter account creator so I went ahead and paid $19.95 for this:
    Code:
    http://www.tweator.com/
    tool.

Didn't get a direct download so I emailed the seller, he replied telling me to wait 2 days for him to update and send me the software or that he could send me a refund right away.

I told the seller I could wait a few days.
I waited 3 days then emailed him but he wouldn't respond to my email.
It has now been 11 days since I paid for the software and I have sent many emails asking for a refund but the seller refuses to reply to my emails.

So In other words I've been scammed, I just now opened a dispute case with paypal. Should I go ahead and escalate the dispute to a claim within my paypal account right away?

I've never asked for a paypal refund, so please let me know how to go about this.

$20 isn't much, but I hate it when someone takes my money and doesn't deliver! :damnit:

Put in a complaint straightaway through paypal disputes.
They give the guy you are complaining about 30 days to respond.
The last time I was scammed ..small amount..paypal said that because it was not a physical product they could not do anything about it.
    WTF.
They make money off transactions for non physical products but offer zero support if the seller doesnt cough up.
    And that makes sense because.?
Seriously..just out of spite..keep hassling paypal..the seller (scammer) will always have it on his file..a few more complaints and they might flick the prick..
I wouldnt hold your breath for paypal..the last person handling my complaint just had to sign into a service account of mine and see that I did not receive what the seller claimed..would have taken about 30 seconds..the bitch was too lazy and dopey to bother.
    :smash:
Paypal are there to protect the people doing the small scams without using physical products...kiss your money goodbye..

I think there is an option in paypal to complain about 'service' in the option where you have to state more specifically about what your problem is with the product. I think I checked 'time based offer' like a ticket or plants going off. Something like that anyway. Point is, once you feel the offer has gone bad, paypal responded to me on this, and I got my money back within a week of raising it to a claim.
And yes, it was a scammy download product.

    Hope this helps.

I will get my money one way or the other, if this guy doesn't give me my $20 bucks I'll find out all I can about his online dealings and make sure he can't do business online.

I might even contact the police where he lives and see if I can get the guy arrested.

He won't be smiling much longer if he doesnt refund my money.

He has a domain and a hosting might start by getting these shut down.

    Hey there

I'm sorry to hear that you've been ripped off. But there's a solution.

You must elevate to dispute but don't forget to tick on the option that you didn't receive product. This is the best way to get your money back because when you open a dispute, paypal waits for seller to respond. In this case he won't respond you they refund your money.

    Good luck.

Ok made it into a claim, and I selected that I haven't recieved the product.
Status for now is: "PayPal Email sent to seller"
