    Hello fellow blackhatworld members,

I really dont want to go into details but lets just say I trusted a so called friend who desperately needed money and I gave it to him. I knew this guy for a very long time and I didnt think he would rip me off. After 1 month I wanted my money back as he promised me and now he tells me that he doesnt know what I am talking about. I asked him, didnt I gave you 5k last month? And he said, not that I am aware of...
Long story short: He refuses to give me my money back and he also doesnt answer my calls or messages.

Do you guys have any idea how I could get my money back? I am not the type of guy who threatens people or beat them up. Its just not my thing.

My problem is that I desperately need the money back because I have tons of bills to pay but unfortunately no savings. I also lost my job unfortunately due to bankcrupcty. Yeah, nice coincidence, I know...

Please help me! Any suggestion is much appreciated.

Info: I live in Europe and going to police wouldnt help since this is a civil case and I also dont have proof that I gave him the money.

Much love to all of you guys!

It’s very difficult without proof, you could threaten him with a lawsuit or even say you’ll publish photo in media, or hire a guy just to scare him into paying honesty I don’t know how you’ll recover but good luck you need it

Still I would suggest you to go to the police - they may at least give him a call to scare him. Apart of that your only options are public shaming (post in your FB and send it to all his friends / family), and physical violence there is nothing you can do about it. And yes, its really stupid to not get something on paper, even just a signed note "I received $5000 from xxxx" would be enough...

I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, with no proof, you can't do nothing. Take this as a lesson not to trust anyone, no matter how close he/she is.

No idea why this thread is here, why it's your first thread and you registered here just ask what to do when there is a worldwide non-written rule not loan money to friends??

Go to the police or meet him at a dark valley with a bat and ask for your money back. Ord if you are too weak to do that then forget about those 5000$ and remember next time not give anything to anybody.

Write to the police! Do you have your correspondence? where did you send the money!

I'm sure something can be done

All you can really do is visit him in person and try to put him under pressure. Try to get to the bottom of the problem as well; assuming he can't afford to pay you back, see if you can get him to agree to a repayment plan at least - spread the repayments over X number of months for example.

If none of that works then you need to go to the police and you can go down the route of taking him to court. Even though its a civil mater, I believe he would be forced into bankruptcy if it does go to court and he refuses to pay you (?) that alone might be enough to make him pay.

Thank you for all your messages guys. I am sorry if this is the wrong section for this thread.
And I also know that it was stupid to give money away but if you trust a person you just help without hesitation. Thats the kind of person I am...

I have his Wifi Password if that helps? Can I do something with it to get my money back?

Or do you guys at least know how I could earn money within 1-2 months? I need at least 2000$ for medical bills which I cant pay right now.

    Again, THANKS a lot.

PS: Hiring a guy to scare him off wont work since he has a lot of scary friends who would protect him no matter what.

Edit: I probably will drag him to court but my problem right now is that I need the money to pay my bills. A civil charge can take up to 1-2 years in my country and with no proof I am sure there is no chance of getting it back. As I said, he is ignoring calls, messages and when I met him in person he dont want to talk about the money since he "doesnt know" what I am talking about. He would never admit it in person because he knew that I would record on audio.

Wrong place for such a thread... why you're posting it here? Sorry, but looks like you're trying to scam some people here to get money.

Anyway, if true, here is still a suggestion: I would still call the police and explain to them the situation and then ask for an advice. What do you have to lose? Nothing, except a few minutes. Also are you sure that you've no proof? If you made a bank wire, you still have the bank statement which shows the out going transaction or did you give him the money in cash?

Best thing you can do is probably to call him out publicly... if you know him for a long time, you have his name, probably also the address and everything. Meet him again, make a picture and start positing on all big social networks his name and share your story. If you're really broke and desperate, I would even print out flyers and share them everywhere.

What payment method you did? if it's real friend friend as u mentioned (knowing his wi fi password) then probably cash? I would say to move on and get a job to be able to cover your bills but have your revenge in your mind because he will pay for what he did.
You can pay people to beat him a lot.

Did you transfer the money to him or give him in cash? If you transferred it, the transaction in your online banking account can serve as proof.

As I said I am sorry that I posted it here. How can I move it and where?
I have no proof because we spoke in person and also gave him the cash in person. I probably will go to the police but like I said, that wont pay the bills I have. So I am looking for a short term solution and after it I can still go to police and try my luck.

NO, I dont want to scam people and I dont want money from strangers. Did I ever ask for it? The only thing I want from you guys is help in form of suggestions / ideas. Thats all...

As far as I know its illegal to spread things like this in social media etc. since this is slander. Would be a different story if I had any proof.
