Got My first Sale Today after 3 Months Building a Authority Site

Well 3 months ago, i began building a Authority Site, made a blog for each worthy Clickbank Product within my Niche.

2 Days ago I thought OK I have been wasting my time.

Checked Clickbank today and Boom Boom Baby got my first sale.

I check Clickbank daily for products to promote, and I'm choosy on what I promote, if I would not buy, I wiill not promote it.

I never test then Product, but if the sales pages look good enough to me i promote it.

I use cbengine to check new products coming out, but after my initial burst the products grow a little thin on the ground.

Not having the right products to promote drew on my energy, so I felt I was giving in.

Today was a Boom Boom Baby because the first product I wrote a blog about on 31 October 2014 made a sale.

So hang on in there babys, it took me 3 months to make my first sale, so its given me the drive to keep blogging,
I will be checking the new products to promote again tomorrow.

Oh and by the way I love Blackhat because it gives me great ideas, but generally I'm a whitehat guy.

Thanks for that, and I appreciate you, I have read many of your threads and replys regarding Clickbank and you are the man.

Me too, just thinking about upscaling on what I do, maybe more blogs and maybe another website doing the same thing.

28 posts is small.

What you did was impressive. Google does its dance. Sometimes it takes 90 days to 6 months for Google to start playing nice. In that time, for long term sites, we keep grinding at it without much return. To get a sale after 90 days, assuming no black hat was used to spam it in rankings, is great.

Good job!

Thanks for your reply, I create my blogs from my mind, and include keywords at around 2% to 4% I'm in the jobs niche so I get the product and think of a keyword that people would search for regarding the product. Don't mind letting my technique out, as you have to be good at writing to make it work.
 
That's a good technique. I target the sale way with a sales funnel to pick my KW's for products. Its a great idea.

I would say scale up. Keep making it bigger. The more you get up, the easier it ranks. In no time you will add a zero to those daily earnings.

Cheers I started as a Authority Site, and hope to get here, someone said I have a MNs site but all MNS sites grow into a authority site.
I was about to lose interest, but now it works I wanna tell everyone to keep on writing about the products you believe in.

Too right, Have the dream and work at it, many times I fail, but tried and tested means always work I hope to believe.

I try different ways, get Rich Quick works for a day, get in quick, get out quick.

I hope my blog will earn tomorrow and the weeks to follow, I will keep adding if I find good enough products to add to my niche.

Problem is its growing a bit thin now on what I can write about from clickbank in the Jobs Niche, most of it is crap.

Anyway I will post when or if I get more sales.
 
Hey Steve, congrats. Just remember to always be testing... test your CB offers, test your landing page, your ad positioning, etc.

It's good that you got your first sale but you need to figure out why it took 3 months.

Was it that you didn't get enough traffic? In which case you need to focus on SEO and building traffic
What it that you didn't send enough visitors to your CB offer? In which case you need to optimize Ad Placement, the ads, etc.
Is it that people didn't convert? In which case you should try other offers.

But ALWAYS BE TESTING! :)

Quality Traffic is the main thing, I am just using Organic Traffic from Google, just 20 visitors per day.

Its all an experiment, writing a blog, and leaving it to the big Google to provide my traffic.

Testing the percentage of keywords on my blogs along side the blog title is my test at the moment and seeing how they rank without spending money.
