    hi everyone,

Today I follow some of the stuff I learned here in the forum and I was able to succeed promoting one of my articles.
I posted an article in my blog and 1 minute after that the article was indexed by google. I don't know if it was because of the sandbox or it was really indexed.

    The method

After I posted the article I went to Digg.com and submitted the article there. Right after that I shared with all the friends I got there.

    The results

After 1 minutes of sharing the article with my friends in Digg I went back to google and type it in "water never gets old" and guess which website showed in the first position? MINE

The first time I searched for "water never gets old" it showed Digg at the position but some time later it chanced to my website. COOL :D

I read an article called linkWheel and I think I should promote to more web 2.0 social media to get more traffic.

Feel free to leave comments on improvements!

THIS IS NOT TO PROMOTE MY BLOG. JUST CLICK ON THE ARTICLE IF YOU FEEL LIKE!

the article was just posted, it takes time to google indexed all the related keywords in it.
besides, that's almost impossible to rank well on keywords such as water and old in the first day!

After 24 hours google search is showing my blog in the position even if the user type "water never gets old" without the quotes.

My blog in the first position and digg on the second one.

Congratulations on your fast indexed page, same thing applies to kaboodle, clipclip, mixx, and oneview even though you don't share it with other members in the sb sites.

To even make it faster you can ping your stories at those sites.

Without quotes you are no. 1 with 31.5m google results....interesting!!

However, with quotes you are still number one with the following...

So, I guess the question is, how many searches are undertaken daily for "water gets old" ???

It's really can happen. I know a SEO guru got his new blog index in 1 minute
without any backlink at all. He use a phrase that never exist in google result and
combine it with 1 misspelling word.

I tested his method with a new blog and what's happen? I got index in three hours. I still want to test it and get index as fast as possible.

I think some of you may be missing the point here and only satisfying half of the problem.

As far as I can see there is nil/ no data for the search term "water never gets old" which implies that there are a negligble amount of searches.

So, just what are you achieving exactly by ranking no1 for a phrase that nobody is searching for?

Ideally, you are looking for a niche with circa 80 searches or more per day.

The point is to get indexed and ranking no.1 on the SERP, without care any of volume searchers.

Build more sites with different platform/IP and prefer with free account(blogger blogs, wordpress, geocities, ect). You build your own backlink network and autority sites. These sites, later become your link juice to your money site.

Just type "make money" or "make money online", the ranking no.1 is free blogger blog and the man has been ranking almost two year on the first page. His site is PR0 for long time, then PR4 for couple months and Then PR0 again for couple months(he said because of links farm) and now PR2, but his SERP and rankings always on the top. His tips - only doing simple steps SEO/backlink like I describe above. Now, I will test it out.;)

In this case I can't make money because I'm not selling anything in my blog. But it shows that if you spread your articles around the internet using web 2.0 tools you can achieve great success and later make money out of it.

BTW, this article is not a test it's real. If you read the article you can see what the researches found out about the water.

I find this rather "interesting" ... however, if my intuition still serves me well, SEO is a hierarchical multi-step concept.

First up is the site name / domain name / URL
--Does it contain the keyword ?

    Next is the home page.
Are the following things containing the keyword ?
    --Title
    --Introduction Paragraph
    --H1 Tags Don't OVERDO.. only 2/3 times !
    --H2 Tags Don't OVERDO.. only 2/3 times !
--Contents of the rest of the inner/small paragraphs Don't OVERDO !

Next is the OTHER pages within the site
--Are they following the SAME kind of optimization

Have you got a Terms & Conditions Page

Have you got a Privacy Page

Have you got a Contact Us Page

That's all really, NOTHING more than this

OPTIONAL but could be influential also...
--Is your keyword in <meta> tags ? Don't OVERDO.. only 2/3 times !
--Is your keyword in <strong> tags ? Don't OVERDO.. only 2/3 times !

I will NOT talk about PR, since you obvisouly Don't have any PR.

Now I think the reason you're winning against all the competition is because you're beating them at the FIRST LEVEL . . . you've GOT that specific keyword/phrase in your URL (domain). That's what I can make from my observation, but that's some "good work" hey !

Its great that you are on the first for that search keyword but that hasn't or will bring any traffic to your site now will it.
