Got an email from BHW that freezed my Thunderbird for half an hour...

    I got an notification email for the thread "How I ranked Top 10 in Google in 3 days". And this thing was so big that even on my fast internet and not old Notebook my Thunderbird freezed for around half an hour. The process grow to nearly 2 GB RAM. Even now I cant access this mail properly because its so big.

    Never had this happen before.

    It contains this:

    Hey, everyone, i was willing to try it out, so yesterday i tried it, it's been 12hrs, and still no results, my site, before this was at page 21, then got of the searches completly, then came to page 15 stayed 3 days, and now was completly out again! the last time i checked was like this! my site is about 1 month old! but i was allways indexed! if i put my web address in google there it is!...and has 7 pages of backlinks( i'm working on it) and what i did with the index.html was the follwing, for people that did not quite understand "I THINK" it looks something like this(correct me if i'm wrong):

    And these links goes on and on and on. Klicking on the mail loads an endless new wave of these links. I dont know how many rows that are... But it must be many... So you should check your mailingsystem. I will never get such annoying mail again...

    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Performance_-_Thunderbird tells you more about performance. I personally think that Thunderbird is a memory hog all by itself.

    I was subscribed to the same thread and my mail client (Thunderbird) handled it fine. Try to limit memory usage by addons that might be applicable to your scenario, this might help:

    I saved the sourcecode of the mail to a file and opened it with Open Office. It were 2010 Sites of BHW-Links... Thats not normal. Though in the post there werent these links.
    The file alone is 9.11MB big. And thats Text only...
    I will check why Thunderbird grow to 2GB RAM but this email isnt normal too...
