Searched the forum and still looking for advice or opinions on whether or not I should try to fight a recent PP chargeback. Hopefully this thread can be helpful to others as well. Details (for those interested): * sold $300 in virtual goods (cl pvas) via pp and e-junkie back in mid october * delivered items timely, no other contact with the buyer * received notice from pp that a chargeback was filed mid december (2+ months after the purchase) * reason stated for C/B = "unauthorized transaction" * No previous disputes or claims for this transaction * PP account used is unverified * E-junkie provides a record of the IP used in the transaction - this may be the only evidence available that could disprove the "unathorized" claim assuming the CC company (or PP) would even care about that. Its probably prudent not to draw any attention to the items sold, and a $300 loss is not the end of the world but I don't like getting burned either if that's what's going on. What would you do? Respond and fight it? Just write it off and move on? Anybody feel like sharing any thoughts, opinions or advice?
