Ok so i sold a item on ebay the other week and shipped the item to the seller. I dont have any tracking because i shipped the item from Turkey and it cant be tracked.
Now i used a unverified paypal for the sale and he filed a claim against me just on paypal and not ebay. I did send the money already to my original verified paypal. I am using private vpn's because of the many blocks here in Turkey so the accounts cant be linked together in anyway.
The question now is will paypal take the money from my verified paypal or will they leave that untouched?
If anybody can provide an answer that would be great.

    Thanks.

There was a post about this the other day almost the same situation, yes they will more than likely take it from your verified account too.

Hmmm, why would they take it from my original account?
I mean what if i just payed somebody for something else for example. Then that person would be accounted for it.
Would you be able to direct me to that other thread maybe?

Another question also. Let's say for example they take the money from my verified paypal but the balance is 0 because i already transferred the money. Will they be able to take this from my bank account i have linked with the verified account?

Yes, there was a thread about this as well not too long ago. The guy there even asked his bank to restrict PayPal from accessing his account and the bank answered, that they are unable to do that. If your PayPal balance turns into negative, PayPal will charge your linked bank account or CC.

And what if i unlink the bank account from the paypal account? That way they should not be able to take the money right?
Really seems like a weird way of doing business. Maybe i even bought something from someone without bad intentions and they would take the money from someone else. Seems a bit unfair to me.

I'm fairly sure that when you signed up for a paypal account you agreed that this wouldn't help you. The only way would be to close the bank account but then if you're unlucky your bank could come after you.

It's the cost of doing business. I work in 5% to my costs as cost of fraud. I think everyone should do this.
