    Firstly Im a n00b! However, I made my first $0.50 from an amazon sale on my first website today....so I'm feeling very chuffed. I know...only $0.50 but its a start.

    I have bought another domain, which I spotted as expiring ages ago. The domain is www.for3.co.uk which I thought was quite good.

    I've put a crappy wp blog up for the moment.... but basically I need some inspiration as to how I can make some cash from the domain;

    PLEASE guys, help me come up with some ideas of what I can do with this great domain.

    Cheers guys

    If anyone thinks this is actually a crappy domain and I should bin it, I'd also like to know!

    Maybe I'm missing something here. What makes that a good domain name?

    Hi Hamd01,

    personally even though its a 4 character domain name - its a bad one as far as establishing a new website goes.

    there is not a keyword in their at all. And any new domains always will need to have good keywords within the domain name - unless your going to spend alot on advertising like the company very.co.uk - these guys have a shockingly bad domain name - but due to them spending a shed load on PPC - they have now became a big well known domain in the UK.

    The thing though that springs to mind with your domain if you were wishing to keep it would be to offer things for sale for £3 / $3 etc

    like ebooks, dvds, downloadable software.

    Sorry i cant really give any more ideas, but hopefully you can get something good out of it, Spend a bit of time on it, and if all else fails, spend £10 on a new domain and transfer your pages over to a more keyword rich domain

    Good luck

    Well thanks for your honesty guys....might write it off as a bad idea and look for something a bit more keyword rich!

    Main thing is to learn from your mistakes,

    Hope you find a good domain.

    My advice to you would be to find your niche area first and then get a domain, not the other way around
