Got a 60k FB group.. Now what..

Hey everyone.

I just got a very big facebook group this weekend.
Over 60k users, but the thing is... Its a little bit dead.

I am not sure how to proceed from here as I have no experience with FB groups.

Got any ideas how to kickstart activity again?

you haven't mention what kind of group you have?

2ed have you allowed people to post in group or not?

and what kind of activity you wish in group?

last but not least why you created group?

I did not create the group, I bought it.

It was a CSGO trading page, but it was rather inactive.

People can post as they want to, there is no restrictions.

If you don't have people posting stuff to trade (i.e. if new users don't have a reason to join), you post stuff from other groups / sites (you could automate this with IFTTT). Bonus points if the sites you're pulling stuff from has an affiliate program.

Then once it seems that people are posting stuff, you can start promoting your group in other similar groups and eventually it will pick back up and you can shutdown the automated posts.

This is all assuming you don't want to spend any money promoting it.

well now u can change group name if u want

and start posting 3-4 post everyday no matter what .. it can be meme or joke or video whatever you want ! in few days you will start notice many people will start liking it, 2ed put admin restriction on approval of group post coz ppls dont want to see malware in group, and as its TRADING group mostly ppls are interested in trading only so if u have experties in it do it or ask in group if anyone expert in it.
