Apparently it's a scam. The check is real enough but if it's deposited it will bounce. The fraudster is claiming to be BMA Mystery Shopping and the letter looks legit but doing some homework I found out that this is a scam.

Anybody else get this in the snail-mail? The letter looks very real but two jobs are to use a money gram transfer for $1400 and a Western Union transfer for $1120. That threw up my red flag-o-meter. The other jobs are Sears for $50 and Walmart for $50 with $300 pay.

I think I will call the bank to see if they have enough funds to cover the check. If not ....use your imagination.

yup, would say its a scam.

dont deposit or you will get a charge when it comes back insufficient funds.

If you want to get the bank involved they can put it through their security dept. and if it is good they will then run it through your account.

yep - its a scam alright - I think I read this the origanl part the CPA Greed / CPA Domination ebook tried to take off -have you been filling out a spreadsheet of cpa offers by any chance? - if so then yup - you been scammed
