    Hey guys,

a friend and I started a App for iPhone and Android, so long its going pretty well, we already have 150k impressions on the iPhone App and about 20k on the Android App. We're also making money out of it, but i think its not as much as it should be (all together we made 140$ with those apps).

Is there a way to get more money out of our visitors?

Try Leadbolt. You'll make a bunch using them.

Agreed with DarkPixel, LeadBolt is good
But better option is to join in any CPA network with good mobile offers

I'm not surprised that your not making as much as you hoped. Money from banner ads is peanuts compared to what you make when successfully monetizing via other methods.

The iOS-App is out for about 2 months now, the android app is online since 1 week.

Youre talking about other ways to make money with apps - could you tell me more about that please?

Honestly, your cpm does not look that bad, at almost 1$ cpm. Average across the admob network is lower. (But you are in a decent paid niche i assume)

There are networks that pays higher cpm - iAds - but they have problems filling their inventory.

You should post full stats - fill rate, cpm, ctr, cpc, etc.. from the network, and maybe we can find more about what the problem is.

Admob it's like google adsense for websites (owned by google as well): the easiest form of monetization, but also the lowest payment.

RevMob is better than AdMob, but AM is still solid. One way to supplement your ad revenue is to add in-app purchases. This typically works best in games, but can be applied to any niche and, if done well, can be fairly profitable.

Honestly, as far as your revenue goes, that's pretty good for a single non-game app that's been out for a month. The way to make serious money with apps is to have multiple apps. If you have 50 apps making you $140/mo, you're doing $7k monthly which is nothing to sniff at. So now you've got one app, if you want to really champion it then throw the money you make with it right back into promoting it- Facebook is a great place to promote mobile content like apps.
