    Hi,

My authority website has the above message attached to it when checking my first page rankings. This site was built using an old 2007 teline 1 joomla theme (which should have been updated I know) and I checked my site it had been flagged with the red page that Google puts up. I therefore switched the nameservers over to wordpress where I have an unfinished site which I intended to transfer over at a later date from the site to the new worpress site. This wordpress site also had the google message which I cannot understand.

Can anybody tell me how to firstly get rid of the malware (which comes from the russian federation) and secondly how do I then get the message removed.

I can provide the domain/site details if you can send me a pm

    Thanks - J

your website has been hacked. Check for malware & remove it.

better, find a good backup, remove all the current files & replace with your good backup. both ftp files & mysql.

Google will re-crawl & remove the message.

the easiest way to do is to restore the site from a previous free backup, and then obviously change ftp etc. If you dont have a backup then g00gle the specific virus name and there should be others discussing the same issue and how to resolve it.

once you are confident that the site is clean, you need to login to webmaster tools and send a request to google to review the site again. G will not "automatically" re-crawl. Until you ask for a review, the site will have a message against it in webmaster tools as having malware. If it is good after the review, it will take a few days/ weeks for the message to be removed from the serps.

    good luck!

I've never had to do anything for G to re-crawl the website. It will do so automatically as long as you fix the problem fast.

I deal with this issue pretty often due to my clients' irresponsible plugin installations & things like that. Not once have I had to use the webmaster tool & none of the websites have ever been deindexed or penalized. Just don't let it hang for too long & you'll be fine.

well this happened to me yesterday , just tell your host provider to do a search for you and they will find the malware and about that google warning just enter to webmaster tools and go to malware section and click the review button , it should take a day after you cleaned your site to be all good again

I had the same issue today. someone hacked in to my .htaccess file and redirected it to uaroyalys.ru/, daliachu.ru/ daliachuuaroyalys.ru/

rewrote the .htaccess file and applied for reconsideration on google webmasters. I'ts really freaking me it was my only blog making 30 a day. :zx11pisse
