Recently a copy of the guidelines that G gives to its Website "Raters" was leaked on the net, I managed to track down a live link for the document which is here:
    Code:
    http://pdfcast.org/download/google-guidelines.pdf

This makes interesting reading and certainly helps get in to the mind set of G and how it views quality. Before jumping in and reading this it is probably worth reading this report on SiteProNews which puts it in to context with a recent video by Matt Cutts in which he explains how the information gathered by "Raters" is used:
    Code:
    http://www.sitepronews.com/2012/11/11/do-googles-quality-raters-really-matter/

The link to the guidelines may not stay up as G is threatening legal action against people hosting it and many other have been taken down.

    Happy Reading!
