I own a full domain and the site has been indexed according to WMT but it doesn't appear in the search results. But I think there some errors with Google's crawler bot, under the crawler error report it says:
    1. Google couldn't communicate with the DNS server.
    2. Server connectivity: Request timed out or site is blocking Google.
    3. Crawl postponed because robots.txt is inaccessible.

Does anyone know what seems to be the problem?

If you have DNS issues your site will completely vanish from search results. The other two problems are also severe and would normally destroy rankings.

This is not a penalty though, the site normally comes back after you fix those, but it lowers the site score and you do lose lots of rankings.

As Barto stated, Google is having issues accessing your website.
