Is it just me, or is the search engines search screwing up? Whenever I click on something I'm searching for, it redirects me to a completely irrelevant google search. Just a second ago when I was typing this, I clicked on a link from google search, and it crash firefox.

For example, when I search for ipod to computer transfer all of the top listings, including sites like dell.com and sears.com, just redirect to a google search of Ink Jet Transfer. It does the exact same thing on yahoo and msn search.

I've been having things like a bunch of links on google leading to pages with a bunch of jibberish symbols and stuff like that for the past few days.

    Is this just me?

I don't think Formatting and re-installing is really necessary.

I remember one time I was an idiot and installed one of the PPI programs because I wanted to see what it did.. yeah.. it owned me.

I've had spyware that constantly re-directed me to different results and what not and the one tool that always fixed it for me was: Kaspersky Anti-Virus

This is the one anti-virus I can run and forget about because it will always find the problem (at least in my experience).

Yeah, I figured it was something on my computer. What else could it be? Funny thing is all it does is just send me to semi-irrelevant google searches...really weird. Haven't got any pop-ups or anything.

I'll try to run kaspersky tomorrow and finish my homework now (if I can).

Also, the numbers/letters 3d79 comes up on the top of google sometimes.

I just don't get why someone would make something that would just screw around with my search results. I guess it is possible for them to somehow make money from it, but come on, there are much better ways.
