Google has new quality guidelines to filter search results among the indexed pages. It means that Google will no longer show all indexed pages in search results. Your web pages might be crawled & indexed, but Google will ignore it on SERPs if it doesn't meet their quality standards.

I used to find all my indexed sites on SERPs, but today I started getting this notification in GSC under Availability that "URL will be indexed only if certain conditions are met." The GSC is showing that "URL is on Google," but it's not on SERPs. The following are the guidelines:

I'm sure Google already have these guidelines since long, but they used to display all indexed pages in SERPs. Now they started avoiding sites at the indexing stage itself without requiring manual verification or user reports. This could mean that the regular spam techniques may no longer work and the indexing services that depend on these techniques may stop working. We have to see if the algorithm can precisely identify spam or deindex our normal pages. So, it's better to keep checking your pages manually for a few weeks to see if they get deindexed by mistake.

In Simple words they are going to rank authority sites everywhere, doesnt matter if they provide accurate information or not. They are providing irrelevant results for lots of keywords, I mean authority sites with small shit pages.

I'm not sure this is very new, it's been some months now.
I remember having issues with some pages on Google a few months ago.

some of pages on my site used cloacking technique to hide affiliate links and got skipped. Just redirect to new links.

Hopefully this cuts out all the noob shite sites. If you build a proper site, that you are proud to show off, then you won't have any probs appearing in google.

It's funny, Automatically Generated Content is what Google is.

Anyway, this message is there since ages, not sure what's changed.

Google is just confused. If you do a little research you'll find tons of sites breaking these guidelines but still ranking high on Google. Their AI needs serious fixing.

Seems like these guidelines are for lesser age sites and not for bigger aged sites.

There's nothing really new here, they've not wanted that stuff for years. Whether they index it or not doesn't really matter. If they do spot it then it won't rank so whether it indexes or not doesn't really matter.

These guidelines are there since long, but their Algo wasn't smart enough to filter the indexed pages before they appear in SERPs. Now, they can filter out spam or doorway pages or thin affiliate pages before they appear in SERPs. They're trying to avoid user reports and manual verification. If it works as they intended, then they can make everything handled by AI itself to avoid almost all human intervention.

How does G decide that?
Their algo is updated to find doorway pages (leading to other sites) and thin affiliates (little content).

Google is going crazy right now.

I have an authority site, that has got 2 of its best performing pages (ranking #1 & #3 for competitive terms for 1+ year) deindexed.

When I check GSC it says "Crawled, not indexed". When I resubmit nothing happens.

Alot of people having this issue right now. https://www.seroundtable.com/google-ranking-index-drop-30192.html
Check the crawl report to see if it was excluded from SERPs. This happens for pages that are not in compliance with their quality guidelines. You'll get an error like this in your crawl report.

Total BS, my niche is dominated by websites with a lot of 301 domain redirects, spammy content, and link buyers...

I just checked my coverage pn GSC again and noticed two pages have same issue once again, in the past they were many pages, I had them fixed by re-submitting sitemap.
But this time am yet to re-submit sitemap.

Google is confused or don't know exactly is going on because said page has thousands of words as well as pictures, not anything near thin content. Yet, they crawled and refused to index.
