This is from my StatcounterDotcom page.
Explorer and an Android device from Mountain View.
Maybe they were checking your site's stability or something, part of manual review I guess - poor design means poor site - right?
BTW, there is no way to know if Google uses IE or Chrome for Android except asking them about it.
The site can't be too poor since it ranks for a bunch of Business and Finance KWs on the first page. I've had the manual review before on other sites, I was just surprised to see G using Explorer... nobody uses IE and it was interesting to see the Android device also.
A little unusual in my opinion.
Well, I believe they are spoofing the address for something.
Maybe it's someone from Google that is watching your website.
You know Google has a lot of employees and they are humans too, they are also interested in a lot of things.
I guessed that is some type of policy to use their competitor's products? Otherwise they are tough, very tough!
No wonder my sites take 10 months to get indexed.
Probably just checking performance from other devices & platforms.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if they used everything they could tbh.
