It seems a bit slow at the moment. Ive got sites in the top ten that have been there for 4 months now (and not shuffled either) even though im hammering it with natural links and SB. I just cant seem to budge the main serp I watch. Ten sites - same order - 4 months.

Update my site before every gbot visit.
    Added links with SB
    Added links by hand

Anyone else notice google slowing down?

In the past month I had a site moving around alot. For the main keyword it went from 20th to 13th to 9th to 6th down to 10th all in just the past 2 weeks really. Also seeing the site showing up for new keywords, so maybe all the other sites are just building at the same rate you are. I doubt it, but could be one explanation.

There are ways to speed up backlink finding.

G doesn´t gives a ******** if you have more backlinks to be indexed sometimes. You have to show it using all your means

If you are already doing this correctly and getting your backlinks indexed by google, then your competition is strong enough to hold you where you are.

Updates in serps happens usually in 48hrs for me when I quick index my backlinks.

    Thanks powerteam.

My competitor who has 6 of 10 page 1 sites, has very few inbounds to any of his sites. I cant see if hes getting more very accurately as I havent watched close enough for long enough really. His sites are pr0 - so thats an indicator of how poor his links are (although I am aware that this is not the be all etc)
This is why Im a bit fixated on mine - a pr3 (again though I know this isnt everything but it is an indication of better inbounds to my site) - mine hasnt moved - his hasnt either.

Ive added new pages (1 new page) which has googlebot coming round every 5 or 6 days now - and each time ive done it so it picked up new content - about 6 times - maybe even 7 or 8.

    BlackRat thanks.
I added two links today - from two pr2 domains (home page links to me).
One link was from the pr2 index to my index. The other was from the other pr2 index to a subpage on my site.

I pinged these with my SBox - but at the time I did it - I think I did something wrong in that I am not sure exactly what to load into the "Indexer Services" list in SB.

Do you by chance know what I should put in there? Im a bit behind on fast indexing to be honest.

    Cheers
