Client owns abc company, but google suggests 'abc company death' as its first suggestion...is it possible to change what comes up with some sort of a search bot? What options do I have?

So the company "abc" (I'm guessing it's not the tv network, lol) is getting weird autocomplete results?
Check the search volumes on the Google Adsense Keyword Tool:
    Code:
    https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool
If this a high volume search term? If not, it will probably drop from autocomplete soon.

Check you're not signed into Google+, delete cookies and use proxies to check if it happens all the time.

    The word from Google is:
    Code:
While we always strive to reflect the diversity of content on the web (some good, some objectionable), we also apply a narrow set of removal policies for pornography, violence, hate speech, and terms that are frequently used to find content that infringes copyrights.
It's possible that you can complain, if the result is in some way defamatory towards the company. The only other thing I can think to do it generate a high volume of searches for related company terms and push it off the ranking. You could set this up with proxies and imacros for free, but it would only work if the search volume for the term you want to remove is relatively low.

I'm guessing from your post that someone died at the company...if this was a recent thing, there will be lots of news results that dominate the SERPS, but in time this will fade. If people aren't searching for "abc company death", it will go away.

i seem to remember anon doing a few things to mess with instant suggestions as well
there used to be a guide to doing it on encyclopedia dramatica, i cannot locate it at this moment

this can be done with very low price crappy bought traffic, a fake page redirect, blanked referrer, and a clickjack script, but good luck on the particulars

thanks for the helpful feedback, everyone. To add some value to this, in case you might not have seen the potential for this method, read on:

there are a lot of autocompletes I'd like to have for my own sites and client sites for this reason.
