Google slowly deindexing my inner pages?

Hi everyone,

I have an Amazon review site that had 11 pages indexed by Google about half a week ago. Those have slowly turned down to 5 til today.

What's giong on? If you need, I can PM you my site.

Toughtrasher,

What have you done to the pages? Any recent updates to content or have you been building links to the pages? Have you looked to make sure they are not being excluded by a robots file? What about any redirects on those pages? Its hard to say without more detailed information on what exactly has been happening with the site.

I've only been doing Meathead's method on traffic promotion. I've selected 2 forums related to my niche, posted on them with my signature in the bottom (pointing to inner pages), and some posts contained live links in them that were related to the topic.

Also, to help get them indexed I tweeted about it (with a link pointing to the inner page), and sent it to AddMeFast for Retweets and favs.

Are the pages with unique content? Google may be deindexing them if they are with same/duplicate content

Try diversifying your links, if you're relying on only 1 or a couple link types that's not diverse enough and can lead to penalties. Try building a few generic anchor links to your sub pages ever once in a while just to keep some links flowing to them. Don't go overkill though, you don't want to water your ratios too low.

From your given description there is possibility that the information of these pages has been modified after indexing. There may be a check is placed in robot.txt file which excluded these pages from indexing. So make the clarification what kind of changes or updates you do for more help.

you should also notice that there is a drop in traffic
then the big one
your domain gets penalize
