Kiddies, those of us who are making money in PPC are moving from Google to Yahoo and other search engines. This migration is happening in DROVES. Google has already slapped enough people, including myself, to not only piss them off but to find alternative engines where business is welcomed.

And then there is Yahoo. They must be hauling in the bucks with the onslaught of IM'ers joining their network in the hope of deploying that one page landing page that will continue to convert to sales.

The truth is, there is nothing like a one page lander. It converts infinatly better than say pushing clickers to a multi page blog. Thats a fact and i have spent 2yrs testing this theory. The more distractions you give a clicker the less changes there are of making a sale. FACT!

I'm selling health related products. There is not one, i repeat not one advertiser left in my niche that is currently pushing a single page lander on Google PPC. Where are they? All slapped in the last month or two and hurray for Yahoo, i search for my keywords and they are all visible on Yahoo, even the advertisers i thought dissapeared 6 months back.

The only search results i find for my niche in Google are those drop ship companies. Like nextag, amazon, ask and thats really about it. HOW IS THIS GIVING A USER A GOOD EXPERIENCE? This is the famous Google slogan. You can visit these sites and you will find nothing but product after product with canned descriptions and a checkout process with no unique content at all. I hardly call this a GREAT USER EXPERIENCE!

Its truely unbelievable what Google is doing.

    SLAP TRIGGER #1

As i mentioned last night it all came crashing down for me. All my keywords now have a 1/10 QS and the slap is complete. I know exactly why.

Was it my landing page. Nope, i doubt it very much. I would consider my landing pages to be better than 90% of the landing pages iv seen on Google. Nope thats not it. Ill tell you what it is.

I used to spent $200+ per day. Since sale dropped so dratically this year i lowered my spending to $120 for all my keywords. Suddenly, my QS dropped from a 10 to a 7. Even last week, keywords that have always had a QS of 10 were down to a 7. I continued on but the damage was already done.

Google does not like the fact that you lower you daily spending limit. They also dont like it when you pause your campaigns. They try to entice you by sending you suggestive comments like, HERE ARE MORE KEYWORDS RELATED TO YOUR NICHE or INCREASE YOUR BUGET TO GET MORE CLICKS, little message like that.

Since i had lowered my daily spending limit to only $120 p/d when the googlebot came around to check my pages it noticed that far less people were clicking on my ads. The bot though, "whats wrong with his campaign"? Why is nobody clicking out as often? There must be something wrong with the page. BANG SLAPPED!

This is my theory and its not a crazy one. There is no other reason i can think of why i have been slapped. What i outline above makes a whole lot of sense.

Lower your budget, get a lower QS, less clicks, bot thinks there is something up, slap bang thank you mam.

Interesting thought here. My CTR on most of my keywords was over 10%. On 2 keywords my CTR was 25%. On another it was 15 and 27%. Hmm!

Man, don't get me started on adwords. I f*cking hate adwords and I hate google.

I had a campaign that was setup so nicely. I had a real site, everything in place, 10 pages of unique content, privacy policy, sitemap, contact us etc.

My ad was getting about 16% CTR, and was always on the number 1 position. I got slapped.

I contacted adwords help and they kept saying my landing page is "poor" and it does not provide a good user experience. Complete bullshit, if it didn't provide a "good" experience then why the hell am I getting so many clicks and people buying from me?!?

I re-did my site 3 times. 3 f*cking times! And each time I get slapped, and now banned. F*ck you adwords!!!!!!!!

(Sorry for Language, its the best I could do to describe adwords)

I agree with you totally, forget G and move on... I hope Facebook launches their search engine and takes Google down.

I have actively boycotted Google for a year now. I have never used them to search, I have spent a lot of money on Yahoo for over a year now. Using them to advertise was cheaper than Google and I got better results.

I have actively recommended approximately 30 webmasters not to use Google. They don't.
