My reputation reached 13 lol so I am going to show you somethin'.
I have a good method to get notified via email directly from google when my backlinks are indexed.

    1. Go to www.google.com/alerts

    2. Enter following:
    Search terms: yourdomain.com
    Type: everything
How often - once a day
    Volume - all results
Deliver to - your email address

    3. click create alert

    4. You will get results like I did 19 minutes ago :D

you can set it to "once per day" and this way you will get only 1 email per day with all links.

Thanks for the once a day tip. I have been using it for a few sites, but I didn't set it to once a day.

You can also send them to a feed reader - I send them to my Google Reader, that way when the link is indexed I can tag it, star it, share it, twitter it, etc.

you can also do this by adding your keyword to google alerts. This way you can spy on all your competitors.

Any possible downside to doing this trick? I can't think of any but I'd thought I'd ask anyway...
