    the Internet...
    Well no long theory. Everyone knows about it that google gives different search results for the same keyword depending on the location. for instance, if you search for 'weight loss' on google .com, google .co.in, google .co.uk, etc etc, the results will be different. The advertiser competition also varies.

    What my question basically is, what competition am I exactly targeting?

    I know it depends also on the geographical targeting but then again, how exactly do i maintain the global nature of the site. As in, how do i make sure that my site still ranks on the first page of google for the keyword in question irrespective of the location google is being used at.Is there a way of achieving it?

    P.S. apologies if this sounds like a total noob question.
