i made a site only 3 days ago, after just 2 days google indexed it and it could be found on 3rd page for keyword and in traffic travis my keyword ranked number 12

this keyword has very weak competition

but on the 3rd day (today) my site has dissapeared from the first 10 pages of google (all the pages google.co.uk lets me view).

and in traffic travis my keyword is not found (checking top 500) which seems nearly impossible given the small competition and i have a emd,

on site seo is fine, i didnt do any off site yet other than running no hands seo for 30 mins. i did today change my home page title dose this matter?

Changing title tag matters. See when the site is new don't change any of your On-Site SEO.
No need to worry wait for few days you can see your site on google. Its not a thing to worry about since your site is new.

thanks man, im gonna edit my home page becaue i want to make some changes and add more content to the artical on there. will i experiance similar events every time i edit my home page.

Your site is new, so there is no surprise that it came on top ranking for one or two day and then disappears from from search result. Sometimes it happens. First, you should complete onpage optimization of your site and then move to off page optimization. Best of luck.

Having a site rank well when it first gets indexed is not unusual, this is especially true for weak competition keywords. Google finds your site and it ranks for a bit while they are deciding where it really belongs. This probably would have happened even if you had not made any changes to the site at all.

This is one reason you see so many "Backlinks killed my rankings" threads in some forums. Somebody will build a site see some ranking, build some links and then the site drops. This is just normal behavior and happens even if you do nothing.

The best thing to remember is that any rankings you see in the first three months is smoke. Do not get excited about it or start thinking you are some super seo dude because chances are those initial rankings are not going to last. Think long term and do not worry about daily weekly fluctuations when your site is new. Just a waste of time and energy. Make a long term plan and work on it.

It is called google dance. I experienced it sometimes too, the changig of ranking is too drastically, wait for a moment and it will return to normal.

This is normal. I have had a piece of content put up on my site, within 2 days, i got ranked for a highly competitive keyword on the 1st page without any linking at all. Another week down the road, it is nowhere to be found. Pop back up to 4th or 5th page after a couple of months and stay there ever since.

I have a site where most of my search presence is from images, and every time I check rankings they can change +- about 40 positions in 1-2 days. It's crazy sometimes.
