I'm currently trying to rank my first MNS.

So far, it hasn't gone too well.

The site has been up for probably close to 2 months now. About two weeks after I put it up, I was on the third page for my main keyphrase, and ever since it's just been dropping.

I've been moving around quite a bit, and it seemed to sit at around 50-60 for it's place on google.

Today I checked SEscout, and I dropped 364 places on google US, and went up 1 place on google Canada, does anyone know why this would happen?

I haven't really done anything blackhat, at least since I first launched the site. I ordered one or two backlink gigs from fiverr, but nothing crazy.

Since then, i've just been posting quality content every couple of weeks.

    Any help would be awesome.

    Thanks!

Maybe your site is a thin adsense/affiliate ..

The days this kind of sites ranked well are over ...

Another explanation would be your website is just new and doing a little bit of a dance. Just ignore it and keep adding good content and backlinks. Anyway fiver gigs and the like won't get you very far, you should think of ways of increasing your page rank and domain authority.

get some High PR backlinks....at least 35 or so...PR4 and above...Keep adding quality content...next PR update and your site should be rewarded nicely with PR increase.

I have used this same system with all of my clients and personal sites...All of these sites are at least PR4 now... (some are only 4-5 months old). I continue to add quality backlinks as these sites now rank for many of their keywords...No Google dancing...No threat of a crazy Panda...solid and stable sites which get leads...

    Good luck...

Just do not stop building backlinks...

Keep blasting articles and social bookmarks everyday, you will definitely recover from the drop within a few days.

I would strongly suggest you use AMR because I personally use that and submit 100 articles/day on autopilot.
