(almost) Everyone knows that if your app, that is uploaded in google play store, have payment inside, some of the amount of money the developer makes go to google.

My question is: Will google let me adding inside my app a paypal link that purchases something or is it against the rules?

With pure paypal I will earn much more than with classic play store way.

Just find their TOS and then search for 'payment' keyword - you will surely find something about 3rd party payment processor links built in the apps. I personally think it is highly unlikely they would allow something like what you described.

You can use PayPal for selling:

  • Retail merchandise, such as groceries, clothing, housewares and electronics.
  • Service fees, including taxi and transportation services, cleaning services, food delivery, airfares and event tickets.
  • One-off membership fees or recurring dues, including gym memberships, loyalty programmes or clubs offering accessories, clothing or other physical products.
  • One-off payments, including peer-to-peer payments, online auctions and donations.
  • Electronic bill payment, including credit card bills, utilities, and cable or telecommunications services.
