I recently moved my business location locally to a different store, Google places deleted my account and will not help me at all! People search for my business and don't find anything at all. I need help solving this. This store is an indoor hydroponics retailer. If someone can help please reply! Thanks!

Why are you unable to verify a new location? If your account was deleted for whatever reason, you should be able to create a new account, list your new business and verify it with a post card, no?

No we have verified it, however they deleted all my business reviews and I went through all sorts of stuff on the phone with them, and they listed the reviews back on there, however now when you search us, it no longer pops up on the right hand side and shows our listing. We need to figure out what we can do to get this listing back ASAP my business has suffered a ridiculous amount from this seemingly tiny error. Also we some how now have 2 accounts one listed as one name and the other as the same name. and we used to come up as like the #1 spot. We really need some help with this and are willing to pay. Please give me advice.

Google customer support is not exactly stellar, don't count on it.

If I were you I'd post a thread at Hire a Freelancer and get that new Places page promoted.

I have some SEO guys that work for me with my cabinet company, What type of SEO should be done to promote the places page? backlinks? Google claims having lots of people search for it will promote it. and yes.. that is definitely the understatement of the century.

I've been down this road before with people moving their business locations. Did you keep the same phone #? Did you update your yelp, Did you build out new citations, what have you done to tell the world that you have moved? Try contacting the patch for your local area, the advertising works good, and see if they will blog or write up a local story about, you have to build up some buzz.

    - I recommend you look for broland, he's pretty good with local seo.

You should build up some citations with your new business places. Also, did you update your listings on other pages like YP, LocalSearch etc?

Yes, We have got our reviews back on the places page, Also we have updated our pages with yellow pages and all those other places, we are going through the web and finding all the links to our address and getting them all updated. What do you mean contact the patch for my local area? I'm sorry, I am more of an investor when it comes to the advertising and SEO of our companies rather then hands on. How can I contact broland, the forum will not let me send PM's because i am a new account. could someone contact him for me?
Thanks for all your help guys!

patch is a local online news site,, usually one in every metro, reach out and see if they will do a article on you, or at the very least a little advertising, great for local seo.

You can also spin your products or consumer base if they feel that hydroponics is risque because they're uneducated. ie, some fertilizers are available for aquaria use for those who have fish tanks with plants.
