Right now, I just go to every site that I submitted a citation to and do a search for the local company I'm posting for in order to see if the citation has posted. It friggin' takes forever. Many of the directories I post to don't email me when the citation is approved, and I don't have the luxury of waiting for Google to index it.

So, what's the most efficient way to find out if my new citations have posted, and grab the citation urls? I need to ping them and put this info into a report for my client. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Paid or free tool suggestions would be useful.

There are paid services that can provide the information that you need, for example WL Marketing submits the business to local directories and provides a report of places submitted to, for example:
submission URL, listing URL on site, Approval status, category, login info.

You can see a sample report here:
    Code:
    [URL]http://www.wlmarketing.com/local-business-listing-service.html[/URL]

Thank you, but I need a way to somehow find out when the citation has posted and the url of the actual citation.

Anyone know an efficient way to do this?

I have a tool in development for this. Currently in beta and not open to the public, but hopefully will be in about a month. I'm doing some tests now so, If you're still looking for something send me a message
