Google or Yahoo which one is the correct one?

Ok I've been getting "alot" of visit per day to my site but not the same amount of unique views.

I did a check in g*oogle and yah00 and this is what I come up with.

Y- shows 23 pages indexed and 40 backlinks....
G- shows 4,750 pages indexed and 5 backlinks

So how do I determine which one is correct ?
Logically by the examples above G would be giving me the most traffic but why would the other be so low vs G?

It's not a matter or correct or incorrect, Google gives what info they like and so does Yahoo, at best the results of site: and link: commands are only a rough guide.

If you want to see where your visitors come from then you need to have some sort of tracking on your site, or look at the server log, which should give you what you need.

Googe is telling the truth about how many index pages you have on them and yahoo is good for telling you how many backlinks you have on google

Just where the traffic comes from, Google or Yahoo? Gives the most traffic is the correct one..

both is correct to me lol.. most important you're getting traffic
