Hi everyone,

What is the best way to set up a Google My Business account (for a Thai restaurant business)? Should this be created and linked up to a personal account (with a person's name details) or can you create an account where, for example, you enter 'first name' = [Business name], 'last name' = [Business name] when entering the details for the account?

Also, I heard about Manager Accounts... how do you create these? We would like for multiple users to be able to log into the same account easily...

Thank you!

I normally do like this.

Head over to Google map and create Missing place with the basic details you have. Once that place is get approved by Google you claim for that place using your GMB account.

Thanks jhakasseo

So when I set things up from the Google map link... and it asks to create an account should this be created and linked up to a personal account (with a person's name details) or can you create an account where, for example, you enter 'first name' = [Business name], 'last name' = [Business name] when entering the details for the account?

Create GMB Account in first place. Then go to map and Search for Business Name you want the listing on Google. For example If I have pizza business I will search like this.
"Pizza by Doritos" or "Doritos Pizza". If this name doesn't exist in the google map it will ask you to add missing place. Create the missing place with information you have.

Once that place get approved then you can login to your GMB account and claim that business.

What will happen once you claim it? It will be added to your GMB account with pending verification.
You know rest of drill.

You can create GMB account with whatever name you want. It wont be displayed on Google.
