What domains do Google like best .com, .org.......?

.edu (education), but i think it's .com in the affordable range

Google like good websites more than it likes a certain domain. I can create a .info that can be more respectable in googles eyes than your .edu. Stick with .com if it's available. It's just standard, and although google doesn't discriminate much, real people prefer to visit .coms.

A .info can rank over a .com, just get out and promote it.

Its all about backlinks and promotion. Dont worry about the ending, just get what flows niceley with your site.

I would try to get an exact match on either .com .net or .org. They all work well in Google, .com gets the type in traffic (but not much). .net and .org can rank really well. I would choose .info last

All TLD's are treated the same.

But .com from a branding prespective.

I think the .com .net .org, are all over played. Content is king and will always be, just remember that. =]

In terms of a search engine. But I guarantee if someone saw two sites named http://www.example.com and http://www.example.edu they would pick the .com 95% of the time.
