Google Keyword Search Lie Sometimes

I'm ranking #1 for 27k US search 90k Global monthly search in Google. Daily visits is not up to 150.
I have track, check landing page and done everything possible, still get less visits.
One funny thing is, Keyword tools says monthly search is accurate.
Keyword trend is high too.
What do you think is wrong?

Sure you're not ranking for GEO ? Or possibly try to check your keyword on incognito mode or a good SERP tracker - You might not be ranking first.
 
Doesn't sound like you are ranking first bro. If you was number one you would have the traffic.

What does GA say?
 
Oh and just to add, just because you're ranking number one doesn't mean people are clicking through if you're description or titles are shit.

They could be going past you and clicking on number two or three.
 
Start from exact, broad and phrase!

Check adwords for [keyword] - means exact or "keyword" means phrase.

Only keyword - broad means all LSI, synonyms and so on.

Check rankings in incognito also to be sure you are there.

On the final check the CTR in WMT, if it is too low not OK.

EDIT:
1 more thing - if it is [exact] this volume, and the CTR is higher than 8%, check google trends and searches per month. Maybe the niche WAS searched or maybe the nich is more active in the summer.
 
it happens, my friend has the same case as you. he was ranking for a medical term where no feature snippet etc was there. but traffic too low
 
Are you number 1, but with a serp or snippet that is answering the question for users.

We had lots of featured snippet tables that resulted in very little traffic (even though they didn't answer the question).
 
I have had exactly the same thing. I emailed serplab, they said they get there figures of google keyword planner. Thus keyword planner, group keywords together, so your keyword may not have the keyword searches for it, but the google parent keyword will.

Basically google has lied about the Ms

I have a keyword for 90050 at number 2 but see no traffic from it..
