    Hi guys,
just a quick question, perhaps you can give me a hint here.

I have a video listed on #2 Page, like 48hs ago I upgraded this video with more information, tags, title etc, just to continue a test case I am doing.

I pinged my video using the regular websites for this task.

More than 2 days passed already and my video is still on #2 Page, BUT with the old information, not the updated one. So Google still didn't make notice of the changes I made to the video.

Is this normal? how long would it take before Google notices the update and recalculate SERPS positioning? (as well as to show the updated title and description).

    Thanks in advance!
    Marce

Usually this stuff is updated within a couple of days, of course I have had sites and videos that took weeks to get updated. We are all at the mercy of Google for somethings.

It can take a little bit of time - not long though. Get more activity to your video..like views..subs...comments..and your ranking will increase some more

    You should try this trick:

Post your video link to your google+ profile after update information

Make a G+ page for your site, find some friends (at least 100) and share the new pages with them. Google indexes such social signals much fatser.

Wonderful information guys thanks for your feedback.

After reading all of this, I can clearly see that Google likes to index their property faster, so placing the link on such services will help. But then the obvious question, is still useful to ping the link?
