One of my clients has two sites in a similar field but run as two separate businesses. Google is completely mixing up the search results, giving titles for one, description for another, and generally costing these guys a lot of money. We have tried everything - good onpage SEO, sitemaps obviously, and now put one of the sites on a separate IP. It is still happening! I would seriously appreciate some thoughts on this from you guys - is is keeping me up nights... What can we do to make google crawl these two sites properly, as independent entities...

Are they cross linked in any way? I had something similar in the past and I suspected it was that.

Original content on both, and no cross linking. They were originally on the same IP, now not even on that... So what the hell? Any thoughts?
