For shopping KW's it looks like they are trying to send users directly to paid ads and in top serp's they are having how to, Choosing the best etc guides.

Why I said many times those doing ai articles from openai to gain money might be in crap wasted there efforts

It will really depends on your niche. There will be more zero click searches for a lot of niches but for others people are still looking for a website or AI is not able to serve a up to date answer at this moment.

As IMs we are always going to find a way so I think it's just a matter of adaptation

Looks good I thought, I think that we'll have to see if google just prioritises large company org over joe blog's blog. If the ai is hungry for varied and new information, then we will always have something to compete for hopefully, as you can always write a new product of the year review, or a new angle or meme on a service or content.

Where the link to confirm this please????
You can also check on Google's official blog => https://blog.google/products/search/generative-ai-search/

My question is on this image under the IA Chat are these "Action Tour Guide and The MOM Trotter" ranking websites? So, websites also, will be going to get this traffic or are those "Search Suggestions" like some are saying?

Is your 'average joe' actually gonna bother with reading 4 paragraphs of AI generation when they've been trained for years to just click on a result?
Are they gonna cite their sources?
How much is the hardware to generate relevant content for 8+ billion queries per day gonna cost them to run?

I think (and hope) this is going to end up very scaled back.

A friend of mine made the comment that this was just done so they could keep the shareholders and Bing competition off their backs, I don't think this is true but I wouldn't put it past them either.

Either way, its going to be interesting...

For more detail information check from minute 40 which is when woman explain new search engine.

It is not uncommon for Google to prioritize paid ads, especially for shopping-related keywords. Advertising is one of Google's primary revenue streams, and they often display paid ads prominently on the SERP. However, Google also aims to provide high-quality organic search results to users, so there is still a place for websites, including smaller blogs, to compete and appear in the organic search results.

I also look some ads from ahrefs and semrush, they have paid ads in their premium account, they suggest some good keyword in ads.. As for Ahrefs and SEMrush, these are popular SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tools that provide keyword research and competitive analysis. It's not uncommon for such tools to use paid advertising to promote their services. These ads often suggest relevant keywords or showcase the benefits of using their premium accounts. But their pricing is not cheap, you can take an account from group buy service

Remember that the digital landscape is constantly evolving, and search engine algorithms and advertising strategies can change over time. It's always a good idea to stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and best practices to adapt your SEO and advertising strategies accordingly.

this is good idea about using such tools like ahrefs and semrush , can you tell me where do you buy account as group buy?

This video alleviated a lot of my concerns. It's an evolution of the snippet in my eyes.

It should be interesting to make some test and understand which criteria will affect the paid advertise. In any case they are thinking to monetise more and trying to win competition with OpenAI

Alternative theory:

What if Google just launched this temporarily so that users realise AI doesn't do shit?

(So that the users won't move to Bing or other competitors)

And in future they'll slowly pull away AI from most keywords (just like how we se featured snippets on and off on most keywords)

I`m really curious how accurate the AI is and what consequences can be if I follow its advice and say, for example, I brick my phone. Can I sue Google? I followed what the AI told me.

If chat gpt launches their own native search engine, Google will get smoked

good questions .. if they cite sources (which i would assume) then there is also a chance for SEOs to get clicks. as for the hardware, well it depends on their model. there have been some advancements in making LLMs available with much less hardware requirements. some already ran on a raspberry pi, so with the right optimization they can cut the costs a lot.
