    Article can be read HERE

    Basic gist of article/s-

    • Hollywood is mad.
    • Google will now have take-down notices and remove results from their search engines.
    • Google will penalise websites where repeat copyright offences occur, and push "legitimate" media providers to the top of the rankings.

    Google can go to hell.
They are the biggest hypocrites, They have images of every website on their database which they use for the previews.

This niche is going to end now. Trouble for movie site owners, traffic will be reduced now.

I learned a while ago that if I wanted to watch something it would be easier to find it in Bing than in Google. It won't be long before people realize Google will not give them what they are looking for so they will have to go elsewhere.

Well said... The results Google spits out now are totally useless. They have shafted themselves. Well done Google!

How about "if you want to watch something, use a private tracker such as Passthepopcorn (movies), or Broadcasthenet (TV Shows).

From what I've seen, these torrent sites only get about 10-20% of their traffic from google anyways.

So sick of these big media groups, they can't level with consumers/producers so they powerhouse them out and shove them into the ground by any means possible. They keep putting band-aids on gun shot wounds...

SLAP BACK at Google, once and for all. Their vaunted power all comes from the common perception they have helped foster that without them or other search engines ranking your site, you can't get much targeted traffic to it. They've been using that inch of perceived power to bully and yank the chain of webmasters and IMers 8 days a week, for over a decade now.

Enough already! We should all get proficient at using 4-5 other major sites, with tons of traffic, to glean enough targeted visitors that it totally replaces SERP traffic. An intelligent use of FB likes and Twitter followers can generate traffic that eliminates Google, as does using Yahoo Answers, Wikipedia backlinks, YouTube videos, Craigs List, or even Amazon and eBay. Mastering these 'big 8' portals for traffic can utterly eliminate the need for a SERP system that treats its user base badly.

Forget Google. They reap huge profits off of the hard work of everyday people like you and I who devote our time and money towards generating bigger audiences to click on their ads whether it be web content or and/or video [YouTube] content.

I understand that many of you depend on that Google paycheck to get by but think about what you are and WILL give up to continue to get those peanuts.

I'm done with Google. As you can probably tell, I'm in the Libertarian camp and videos targeted toward Libertarian views are hidden in their new updated "social" layout. I wish you all the best with your Adsense but I'm cutting the cord and moving on...I won't let Google own me and refuse to provide them with further revenue to dominate the Internet landscape which should remain free.

I have noticed this over the last 3 to 4 weeks..... Referrals from Bing are increasing slowly but surely.. Still no where near the traffic from google but that has slowed to slightly to compensate. Another 10 years or so and bing will dominate..

Great! So this means Youtube should legitimately be buried in search.

Wait doesn't Google own that ;)
