Apparently, Google is launching or have launched (probably late with the news here but don't see any thread about this) the Google Drive BETA. It works EXTREMELY similar to Dropbox and it is going to replace Google docs or is aimed to make it obsolete.

What do you guys think about it? An upgrade from Google Docs? A downgrade? How about against Dropbox

It seems to me that Google is trying to expand too much and too fast. They are trying to become an upgraded Dropbox or at least a dropbox to those who do not know what dropbox is. As for me, dropbox has served me well and I don't think I'm going to stress my employees by making my company switch to Google Drive just because it "looks cooler" or is "newer".

yeah it has been out for a little while now.

I'm also not switching from dropbox though. I get annoyed by my "computer savvy" IRL friends that always boast about new stuff. I remember I posted an invite to dropbox trying to gain referrals for extra space and one of my friends started saying how much cooler google drive was.. and how it offered more free space starting out.

I do have an account to save some mp3's in... but that's all.

I have 11.9GB on dropbox and am happy with that.
